Why the discoloration? Understand the color shift with heat, but haven't seen this on an MPE before.

the muffler is titanium. it's supposed to discolor (depending on usage aka heat cycling). other owners have already posted pictures of their titanium exhausts (M-Performance muffler as well as Akrapovic) that have had similar color changes with the bluish-purple hue. completely natural.

Just got the exhaust from the buyer, it has a crack on its right side.tho the seller claims the exhaust has no cracks anywhere. Shame on you.[IMG][/IMG]

I disagree, the guy stated there were no cracks and yet there is. If you cannot take someone at their word when you can’t see it in person then what’s left to trust in people? I get what you're saying but these exhaust are known for cracking. Prevention is better than cure my friend. Op literally made this as his first post so likely he's not a car enthusiast like many of us on here so he didn't give a shit about the buyer. He knew exactly what he was doing so as a warning to everyone buying these exhaust from out of state be very careful and request a video chat so you can see the exhaust for what it is. Pics can be altered or taken from another members post to show no cracks. It's better to be safe than sorry.
