Also are the burbles on the tune identical to the stock CS?
Considering the Stage 2 with the coding but I've not heard from Alex on the PM yet

And to keep the thread going- I have Alex's stage 2 + e30 tune now, but I have yet to run it. He said I can run up to e50 in it, so I may start at e30 and work my way up.

Haha wait until you flash stage 2+ and the GTS bits... then you'll want E. I was just like you haha!

Running E85

Guys, I really suggest if you use any E mixture and or straight e85 to also run a top lube. This helped tremendously whenever I run E mixture on Alex's Stage 2 ++ tune. I received a request for some more specific information on what I'm running. I noticed that if I run anywhere between 3-7 gallons (E25-E45)of E-85 mixed with 93 octane I had an issue with timing being pulled and misfires. I did change to NGK plugs and gaped them tighter which made no difference. So far I've experimented with 3-5(E25-E35) gallons E-85 mixed with 93 octane and Red line alcohol lube and I've yet to an any issues with timing being pulled or misfires. Also to note when I was running E mixture the injectors and engine ran quiet a bit louder, but with alcohol lube it ran much smoother and quieter than on regular pump gas. At some point I'll probably make the switch to a full e85 flex tune with another supplier as I do want a bit more power, but I can say Alex's tune is spot on and smooth. For reference links to the lube I'm using below. I have only tried Red line so far and have nothing, but good things to say about it. I will will try the more popular Power Lube + and report back the difference between the 2.

Alpine | M3/M4 F8X Motor Tuning - Full OBDII Flashing OEM Like

Mike. Did you get the performance DCT with your tune?

Was considering what it does and if it's worth it as currently I'm going Stage 2 with GTS Steer/Diff and CS EDC as that seems to be the best considering the MP HAS.

You where also right, Alex responds very fast on email
I'll be getting it next week as I was too busy to get it done this week.

Did you get the full CH because you're going E?

I'm still debating what to do about it.
Full fix is extremely expensive and the CBC is not.

500hp and 600tq is still within spec as that is what the GTS runs with. 👀

nope, i got it because I'll have the car for a while. Never thought I would get E, then I was like oh what the hell, speaking of that I need to flash that this week and dyno it.

Hey Guys-

Alex has a new tune, its like a flex fuel tune. I'm going to flash it today, but, with this tune you will be able to run on straight 93 and up to a E50 mix..all with the same tune.

Just got done with Alex doing a remote sesh for my car.

Got the full package, DCT, GTS Steer and Diff, GTS MDM and CS EDC, Stage 2 with CS overrun/burbles and I've got to say, what a day, what a day.
Christmas came early this year

It's freaking amazing, my butt dyno tells me it pulls like a train but retains that OEM feel.

The whole thing took like 40minutes from start to finish, Alex@Alpine have been really great and easy to get in contact with and talk to about wants and needs and it all worked flawlessly.

Can't recommend this enough!

good to know, because as I said in another topic, after I bought the car, 2017 zcp, I sent it to a shop to check all and change oil.

The shop reseted my DME with the 2020 ISTA version, because thought that was the solution.

I was told by an ex bmw technician that my DME was blocked and only benching was the solution.

It was good to know Alex, who told me that he can tune the car, as he did yesterday, remotely.
