I usually stock up on a full year of car detailing supplies on Black Friday and that has been serving me well (and a ton of money) over the past few years.

When does it start? Is there a specific promo code to use?

Looks like they raised their free shipping to over $499 which is def more than I wanted to spend.

I'll throw out there that AutoGeek has 25% off + free ship for orders above $95 using BF2022.

TCG - They were one of the first suppliers for Bilt Hamber products and it has been on my list to try their auto foam. It came in really strong in Forensic Detailing's tests ages ago but I still haven't finished my current stock of foam soap. Any chance you've tried it?

I'd like to thank hellokitty for the clean garage post, awesome sale.

Emdauto has their stuff discounted if anyone has been thinking of lowering their car, 20%.
https://www.emdauto.com/

Mishimoto also has a good sale going right now. The intercooler power pack; intercooler, heat exchanger, charge pipes, for $2035. Just add it all separately vs clicking the bundle, saves an extra 200 bucks for 800 in total savings.

BH Auto Foam is very strong stuff. I only use it on the dirtiest cars and still have most of the large jug I bought last year on BF.

I keep my cars rather clean so I hardly use it.

Isn't the Mishimoto top mount an upgrade over OEM? We all know that one certain company isn't

Unfortunately Mishimoto isn't an upgrade from OEM despite all their marketing. Wagner is the only proven one based on real world testing by Bend Calibration. Mishimoto performed slightly better than VRSF, which isn't saying much.

Vorsteiner appears to be 20% off with free shipping for our cars. Picked up a one piece diffuser for my CS in apparently 2x2 weave. I've had this part a couple other times for my prior F8x cars, and both were in 1x1. Excited to see the 2x2!

I want to get their aero side skirts again but I've already blown enough money on this car for now hah. I'll wait until Spring time for those!

Ah, fair point. I keep my cars pretty clean as well. I've never been able to fully contactless wash my coated cars though (pressure washer - foam, rinse then blow dry with leaf blower). There's usually some noticeable (to me) residual grime between my weekly washes. Any chance you've tried it for that purpose?

What pressure washer are you using? Might need to increase the psi to fully remove all of the residue.

I use the Kranzle 1322 from OG and never had an issue with residue left behind.

I usually use Adams Graphene soap, Koch Chemie GSF or Carpro reset depending on my mood hehe

Hm, interesting. Mines a Sun Joe pro line one - spx something or other. It's 1k psi, 2gpm. It's over 5 years old and still running. I bought it before Matt did his tests and he likely hated it because he hates all Sun Joes but it's gotten the job done for me I guess. It foams thicc af - I guess just the pressure is slightly less than needed.

The Kranzles are sick but I can't swing the price. I'll probably pick up an Active 2.0 once this thing kicks the can but it's somehow still going strong. I'd take advantage of BF deals but have some more important purchases to make.

I'm using CarPro Lift for foam and Reset when coating refresh is needed. I've been topping with Bead Maker for ages though so I've felt like Reset is getting used less and less.

I'd switch to something less strong for foaming. Carpro lift is meant to be used on very dirty cars like the Bilt Hamber auto foam. It has a pH of something like 9-11 so using it often can prematurely kill off a ceramic coating or wax that you've previously applied

I switched to all pH neutral soaps for the weekend cars since they are ceramic coated. I only use the heavy duty stuff on the daily beaters now hehe
