With comfort access, you can just keep your key fob in your pocket or purse, so much less likely to drop it.

From the two of us, I'm willing to bet I own less purses. I just end up stuffing everything into my other carriers.

Cheers, it was beautifully done. I'll buy you a cup in the next Redmond meet.

Since I don't keep my phone in the toilet, I don't have to worry about my key.

Cheers.

If the fob is plain I might customize it with some M stuff, like stripes or something. I think it'd be fun.

wise man spotted! The worst thing is that I told a few people that I lost yet again one, and now the new one doesn't shut up. Every flipping person I have ever met is now bombing me with shit and the urge to destroy an other is on the rise again.

Boys, bra. Best place to store car key, they will never be lost but exec becomes a must to order, or you end up looking like a total perv half of the time while trying to enter your vehicle. Trust me, I know.

The key itself is already big. A case doesn't make that much difference. I have one on my key as well. It keeps it from getting banged up in my duffle bag, back pack, etc.

Sometimes I need to lock my car as I'm walking away. It seems that a cover would just force me to take the keys out of my pocket, and undo the cover to get to the button. I just keep the second key in my desk... that one can be the pretty mint condition one.

I see no point for those. Just gimme the car. I'm willing to ask sir Loin about purses to get it around with me.

I appreciate that someone obsess more than I, I feel like a complete idiot when the matter of cars is talked with anyone, I go as far in occasion as to act like I don't know what I'm buying just to keep the balls from popping out.

And the situation inside the house is even better. The active sound gives out too much pleasure to the hubby, so I stopped feeding him 3 week ago or so, and he still doesn't shut up.

Key fob. least of the problems.

If you have comfort access, why would you need to take the key out of your pocket. If you don't have comfort access, it takes about as much time to slide the case over as it does to blink; you don't 'undo' anything. The key pivots out of the case. I suppose that is too much for some, hence this utterly silly debate.

It's funny, people will put cases on their iPhones and Samsung's to protect the cosmetic condition of the shell (..and plastic film over a touch screen to "protect" it from fingerprints and scratches), but find putting a case on an expensive key which is fairly easy to damage a ridiculous proposition.

I shouldn't be surprised. This is the internet: land of the ballers, the elitists, the pretentious, the whiners and the apologists.

Who peed in your coffee? haha, my keys are protected well enough.

Just seems to me they could make these fobs a bit thinner. I realize they are secondary but with the pace of technology advance these key fobs are kind of dated compared to other tech.

Would be interested to see a smart phone app double as a fob because I don't want anything else in my pocket anyway.

They probably could, but at what cost? A thinner more intricate profile would cost more, and then people would complain even more about the cost to replace one (..we've heard the complaints before).

Not as long as you have iCloud. Every new phone would be like getting a new key fob

"Siri, unlock the car and pick me up at the front door" ($500 add on with Exec package )

I'll rather have dinner with my mother than buy anything of Apple. That is a lot, I assure you.

Just read your comment on the hood design, apparently we have similar thing towards cars, and if you ever need any one of them completely ruined in your eyes, just remember to turn to me. I'll help.
