OEM Windshield Lease Return
My windshield was cracked and need to have it replaced. Does bmw check if it's oem glass on lease return? I have full glass coverage but gieco will only cover the price difference between "like" oem and oem smh

If you have HUD they may have to go OEM to replace it. Don't think there is an aftermarket wind screen for HUD yet.

I have Geico as well and have just replaced my windshield after a crack as well. Full coverage, replaced at the dealer (2200 dollar). Geico didn't complain at all.
Just had to pay my deductible.

I had mine replaced with the OEM. Had to fight insurance a bit, but in the end it all worked out.
