Hey Sir Loin, did you buy from BMW of Seattle? I have a M235i on the Metis headed to that dealer...we might pick our cars up the same day!

I have a few M-Perf accessories that need to be installed at the VPC so hopefully that won't cause lots of delays...the wait is though!

Hi patbrass. No, I didn't. I am buying from Bellevue BMW. Saw an M235i recently and it looks very sweet. I wish we could order M Performance parts for F8x.

It is cool we are tracking different BMW models on the same vessel on this thread!

My business partner is on that boat and we both ordered our M4s from BMW Seattle.

My M4 didn't make the boat (or any boat for that matter) for some reason even though ours were both ordered the same day and almost have the same options and mine was even finished with production 4 days before his! The next boat isn't until the 25th..

I don't believe you can track your car by VIN.
You just have to call BMWNA or your SA to find it out.

If you already know your car is on a vessel on its way to you, there is not much you can do other than tracking to ship on marinetraffic.com. Is your car on Metis Leader?

I don't know if my car is on a vessel at all, I just asked my SA for a 2nd time since last Friday if he can give me an update, hopefully he can give me some info tomorrow

Actually, I have not really talked to my SA recently. I got all the information I need by calling BMW USA. 1800-831-1117. The people over the phone can tell you which vessel your car is on, if it is on a vessel. Just give them your production number or VIN.

Not if you do ED, I called BMW NA already and they told me to ask my SA

I see. If your car didn't get on a WW vessel (record not found on 2wglobal.com), maybe it is on a NYK Line vessel. If so, then I don't know how to track it. Hope your SA will tell you soon.

I live 10 minutes from Port Hueneme... I wanna just stalk the ship down and make sure they don't sink (like that one boat that lost an entire shipment of cars)

does anyone have the satellite feed to update the latest position of Metis Leader? It still shows North Altantic but given it is going to be in Panama on the 20th, definitely the info at marine traffic is stale!
