No issues at all running the AR1 315/30 which run slightly narrow for its size.

You have the euro lci lights, but the GTS doesn't have a Kafas camera so you don't get to use all the cool features like intelligent light assist etc. Did you try retrofitting them as well or are the ikon lights purely for aesthetics?

No, I didn't try to retrofit the cameras. As of right now it's for aesthetics.

No tune at all. I had O2 sensor spacers since I installed the DPs but, they finally gave out and reporting a CEL.

Nah...I'm not even worried about it anymore. Once my single turbo kit arrives then I will need tuning done anyways.

you're not getting one of the tried and proven dual turbo replacements? Chet has a cool single turbo build but he doesn't recommend it for most people

No, I want to do something different and willing to take the risk and dive in. The sound from a true equal length manifold and downpipe combo from a single turbo setup is > than any dual setup IMO. There is an external wastegate which can be controlled via Motiv Reflex+ or an old school external boost controller. Tuning is also key for a track car to make sure power delivery is linear. Spool time with my setup will be similar to any larger dual setup hitting full boost by 3500 rpm or maybe sooner. TONS more top end as well.

I'll be the crazy one to do this on a GTS. No shame in my game and fully committed to the process.

My Setup will be optimal for track days:
Custom tuning for street and track
Additional Fueling via PI w/ upgraded fuel pump
e85 flex fuel mix
Carbon Kevlar Turbo Blanket
Exhaust manifold heat plate
Ceramic coated exhaust manifold and DP
Front mount intake filter for lower IATs.

Very interesting. Who is doing the tuning? Do you expect to find E85 at the track or will it also be tuned for 93/100?

No, I don't expect to find e85 near my home tracks. However, tuning will adjust on the fly depending on fuel mix. I will have a dedicated tune for track running 93-110.

It should be an interesting build.

It seems very interesting! Looking forward to hearing more.

In the manifold I see two exits but only one turbo. Is it a twin scroll? Who makes this kit?

Have you considered the lift kit + lpfp + eu5 injectors so you don't have to do PI? PI has its advantages, but your engine isn't built (yet... lol) and PI adds complexity to the system. For a track car that complexity would worry me

Yes, its twin scroll. If you look at the turbo it has the same matching two exits.

Yes, I actually might do the lift kit + lpfp + eu5 injectors to keep it simple before diving down the PI lane. Those EU5 injectors have a crap ton of tuning tables that need to be adjusted which can be tricky. Agreed on not implementing any more complexity.

meth/PI etc sound great but at the track even OEM systems fail. Having a bunch of extra piping, wiring splices etc sounds ok for 'mexico runs' but at the track... ugh.

lift+lpfp+eu5 is becoming a standard-ish setup and on 93/100 you cannot max that out on a stock block. You probably need zero fueling upgrades for a stock block to hold ~600whp

Do you feel like you've identified a tuner who can tune your car for track work appropriately without disabling safeties, removing knock detection etc? This is by far my biggest concern with any tuning. My E9X experience has been sobering.

Friends have Stg2 tunes from very well known tuners here who fall flat on their face at the track because they're designed for mexico races, not the track. They are two completely different things.

Yeah...I might just call it a day with lift+lpfp+eu5 as it just works and can handle all my fueling needs.

Yes, I've been eyeing Wedge Engineering and Motiv for tuning for track work. Wedge already tuned the track car in the video I posted above.
