Exclamation Dealer says OBD2 port is aftermarket

I recently noticed that the OBD2 port on my F82 M4 2017 came loose. Took in for the service and asked the dealer to investigate. Their answer completely confused me. They said that the OBD2 port is aftermarket hence why it is loose and it has to be replaced with the OEM one and gonna charge me an arm for it. First off, is it even possible to install an aftermarket OBD2 port? Now I am aware it has tune on it but not sure which one. If I want to replace the port where can I get an OEM one and I am pretty sure I can replace it myself with the pin removal tool.

P.S. I have attached their statement in the attachments.
Appreciate the help fellas!

Can you post a picture of the odb port? Most tunes just piggyback off the odb port. Dealer might be using that as an excuse to charge you.

I know, I was actually planning to do bootmod myself later on so I know what tune I am running and the port itself functions fine. Its just loose in the housing. The dealer's response is just unheard off. Will post the picture once I get my car back from the dealer.
