Improve your brakes modulation and feedback
I post here to spread the word about my coding development that improves modulation and feedback from the brake pedal, giving more consistency overall on track or street driving from the brakes, my development was reviewed by other forum members with no other than positive comments such as: "I've had 2 track days since applying daap's brake coding and all I can say is WOW! The pedal feel is a night and day difference. Before the brake coding, the pedal felt dead and assisted at random points through the braking phases.. Now, I can really feel the deceleration through the pedal. You can feel what the brakes/wheels are doing under braking. It's unbelievable! It's made braking on uneven pavement an absolute joy! Before the coding, braking on uneven pavement was hit or miss. Now, it feels more analog, almost like throwing it around in an older car, not a 2018 computer" "It was the best 100 bucks Ive spent on the car hands down" "Just a quick review on Daap1193's brake coding. I have been using his coding for the last 3 to 4 months and it has been pivotal in my ability to fully utilise my brakes. I run ap racing front and rear calipers. Prior to the coding, they were unpredictable and hard to modulate. Post coding, the braking feels consistent with the same feeling everytime. I am able to modulate the pedal and enabled me to brake much later and suddenly with full confidence whereas previously I would just hit abs randomly". "Whilst it greatly helps anyone with a bbk. This coding will also benefit stock brakes once you are really pushing hard on the track. Highly recommend David to all. He has excellent customer service and is very prompt in responding. He takes his time to ensure everything is done correctly whilst also explaining it in simple terms so that I could understand what was being changed" "Would never go back to stock brake coding after this" I had many M2 customers but this also works for all M2, M3 and M4 F8X platform and also Mperformance cars like M240, 340..... If somebody is interested can check on this post the complete review of my work. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=28395082 and DM if interested |

Daap coded my brakes a couple of months ago. I have AP's front/rear. Huge improvement in pedal feel, and easy to modulate at the limit.
He also coded my steering, which is a nigh/day difference also. Steering provides excellent feedback now, and the dead center is gone. Highly recommend this coding. |

The link in your post does not work. Can you explain if the ABS is also being modified? I loved the M3 CS ABS but the regular F8x ABS is not the same (At least in terms of feel).
