Nahhhhh 285 rear is weaksauce...go larger which which also keeps the tire diameter nearly identical.

Tire Height (Diameter) = 0.37% difference
265/35/19
305/30/19

Side note: You can stuff a 305/315 up front and 325 out back with the right wheel/suspension setup.

Yeah you can. It’s like a German muscle car that can turn.

Not even joking, that last picture with the gold wheels has been saved on my phone for a while now along with the shot of the rear end in the same garage.

Your thread genuinely helped convince me to get a GTS

I was going to order the the FI-R's in the stock GTS 666m sizings. Ind suggest 265/35 front and 295/30 rear. Do you guys think I should go with a different setup instead? The car is just for the street until I move back to the mainland.

I’ve purchased dozens over the years for myself and my kids. The slim fit is nice and lightweight, the heavy T’s are good quality Haynes.

Their customer service is very responsive and helpful. Although, if there’s a quality problem they can only issue a refund since they only print based on orders received with very little extra stock. Time from order to receiving the product is a few weeks.

I've got a couple of T-shirts from there before. I'm happy with the quality for the price, and shipping was quick.

Haven't bought in a couple of years just because I already have a closet full of T-shirts and don't wear them all the time now.

I have a stupid question / newbie-ish topic I need help on.

With the OEM KW suspension, and in comparison to all other M cars I've owned with KW clubsport variants I've bought, the GTS seems to "jump-out" (my term lol) a bit...some oversteer when on power through corners. It bounces around through a corner versus a linear travel when on power. My e92 on Ohlins or KW would just smoothly go through the turn....Am I the only one that feels this? Is it easily corrected? Thank you.

I would say that's pretty accurate compared to my other M's (none of them on Ohlins, I'm sure they're amazing). The GTS in stock form just doesn't really soak up any bumps, but rather skips around.

I'm sure that works great on track, but on normal roads, I'd say not perfect. I've considered playing around with the stock KW settings as mine is still at factory settings. Don't want to mess with ride height though.

P.S. I have nowhere near the track experience some guys here have, nor can I do a 7:28 laptime at the Ring. I'm sure the guys that track their GTS have really good knowledge on how to setup the car.

Not sure. I just bought the GTS from a great guy on the forums. I need to take the car to MRF in S. Calif to see if he can smooth it out.

MRF? Damn, I remember that company from my E92 M3 days. Hell of an amount of suspension knowledge there.
