Easy way to tell if a car has ZCP?

Hey all,

I'm in the market for an M4 ZCP and I'm looking at used vehicles.

However not all dealers list the comp pack in the details about the car, so I'm curious if there's a way to tell if the car has this package by pictures?

A specific button/seat type etc to look for?

I did search but it seems that either this question wasn't asked before OR it's buried within a very long thread and I was unable to find it.

Help is appreciated.

Blacked out M logo on the rear, blacked out side gills, 666M wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, front seat belts with M-stitching.

The two most certain clues will be the 20" wheels and the cutouts on the front seats. I'd say the seats are the most certain, since they're the most likely feature of the Comp Pkge to not get retrofitted to a non-comp car. To be sure, run the car's VIN through a VIN decoder online and see what the build list says.

ZCP specific wheels and seats made it easy for me when i was looking. Wheels seem to be an easy spot.

Could anyone post an example of ZCP seats vs non-ZCP by chance?

Thanks so much for the quick help!

In the absence of seeing the original sticker that has a matching VIN, and assuming it is a coupe - cut out seats. I have ZCP and opted for 19” wheels so wheels aren’t definitive. Black grill and other parts can be purchased and I’m guessing seats belts can as well.

Just google M4 seats. ZCP have the cut outs.

I’d say the only sure bet is the cutout front seats.

All other visual CP elements are either offered as options or easily retrofitable. The 20” 666M wheels are a good clue, but the CP can also be ordered with the 19” 437M. The ///M seatbelt stitching as well as the blacked out chrome elements are offered as options on non-CP in some countries.

I just did this and had no idea the seat design was so very different! Wow

I feel a big foolish for asking for pics (as I thought the difference might be minute enough to need highlighting), but I appreciate all the helpful context here!

They aren't really that different. ZCP seats just have the cut outs and lose adjustable lumbar support. Otherwise, I believe they are the same seats. There are numerous threads that debate ZCP vs. non-ZCP, including which seat is "better" than the other.

Ive sat in both seats. I prefer non-Zcp seat because i have bad back. The lumbar support makes a huge difference to me. I can do away with the “tickle holes” on the ZCP seats.

As others have pointed out wheels are not a sure thing.
I ordered mine with the 19" 437M wheels

Seats are sure thing.

Here are the seats with the cutout
