Were you able to code "Easy Entry", and are you using the Android version?

I believe that is in expert mode. I use iPhone

Coded my car with the app and also a couple of buddies cars as well, no issues what so ever! App works very well for your simple coding features and its so easy to use!

Anyone know of some cool stuff you can enable in expert mode?

I have used BimmerCode for over a year and it is by far my favorite app. For refernce I originally had the vgate wifi adapter but it was a bit slow so also ordered the bluetooth 4 adapter which I find faster.

I keep the wifi in my wifes x3 and the bluetooth in mine so works well. I was able to code lci tails in expert mode which while a pain because of number of entries worked great as well as the auto backups which are per module. When I took my lci off I just restored the rear module back to the backup and called it a day.

Also if youre missing entries its possible your fw is old/different not really the apps problem.

I just received my Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth adapter and it's working great with both BimmerCode and BimmerLink. I used Bimmercode to code off ASD permanently instead of temporarily like with BimmerLink.

Tonight I'll work on courtesy seat access - most of the other standard coding options were already done via remote coder.

Now I'm back in BimmerLink trying to figure out what sensors I should be watching, but it's also all in German. Plus I've got several errors showing up and I can't tell what they are. Anyone able to point me at a translated list anywhere?

Does anybody else have issues with idrive/CarPlay taking over the wifi connection when trying to use the app with an iPhone and vGate adapter?

I’ve had to delete my phone profile from the car before I can get some coding done. Otherwise the connection just keeps getting interrupted.

I did a bunch of coding today with the app. Really impressive how idiot proof it was.

I haven't had any issues with idrive or Apple car play. Just have to turn off WiFi when using the Bluetooth dongle.

ASD was surprising. I coded it off and went for a quick run. Immediately disliked it. I'll see how the new mid-pipe and valve controller combo changes things next.

Anyone know how I can code off the amber lights on LCI II icons (2018)? I know with the previous LED headlights you would have to go into the TMS modules. Which ECU should I be looking for?

And I'm looking to turn on the side marker amber lights on my pre-LCI LEDs! In the app, there's a check for Sidemarker lights, but it didn't work. I tried the TMS module, but it didn't give me the option to turn them on.

I prefer the 48% level. The 100% level looks like a Honda Civic owner went to ebay and purchased some stupid bright lights.

sorry if this has been answer since i didn't read all 9 pages.

I have a 2015 M4 with LED lights, i bought the bimmercode app and the adapter from Amazon, i coded few things such as no amber lights..etc.

one thing i would like is EURO light which i heard a lot of positive things about it, i haven't explore expert mode mode yet since i'm still a newbie with coding.

any guide would be very useful for me.

1) Can I code in Enhanced Bluetooth for two-phone support?

2) Remove seatbelt chimes on driver/passenger, but retain red dash indicator light?

3) Code in Top View camera while going into Reverse (2018 issue)?

I’ve coded my last 4 Bimmers with the same guy and hesitate trying to do this myself.

Can anyone help me enable ASD? I disabled it many months ago and my backups won't reenable it?

I was told to go into advanced mode and change my model range to F80 and engine to S55.

These are my settings. I only changed model range. But Is this right? What's gear shift noise setting for? 6MT only?

I think it's right. Because I think I heard it on way to work. But checking the setting says "unknown value".

Can anyone help me out?

For a minimal outlay it certainly provides a lot of value.

I agree. Great price point for simple coding. Though for Euro MDM, GTS spec coding you’ll need to go elsewhere.

But I certainly do like the app!!!
