All i am seeing on my end is a SM2(6d) module but no lines to edit how far the seat moves back. Hoping someone on the forum has found something for this.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for all the help, very much appreciated.
Lines are still present. You need updated mapping.

Does this require a visit to the dealer? If so, what should I ask for when speaking with SA if he doesn't understand update mapping?

Thanks for the help.

No need to go to dealership. Just go to folder 3015, using picture I posted as guide.

Just did it, worked like a charm. Thank you for the help. How would I get the updated mapping? Do i need to get the latest PSdZData files?

Mapping comes from launcher. You would need to wait for Tokenmaster to update.

On the Bimmercode App there were three lines to 3015. Do you know which lines you should update it to?

Also after I coded, the seat will move back after I turn off the ignition and open the door, however the seat will move forward back to original position as soon as I shut the door. Why is that?

Ok. I think I got it. For me, I have to use custom value of 2 instead of 1 for the below then it works.

30C0 PRIO_ACHSEN set to: 1 or 2

Hi Almaretto,

Any information if TM has updated the SM[6d] modules?

My car has just been updated to ISTA 18-07-531; and the mapping of
EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS
EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS
is not available.

Any idea when TM updates this?

Also, I am using
psdzdata 4.13.11 lite
ESys Launcher Pro 2.9.15.333
ESys 3.31.0

Do I need to upgrade my Launcher?

I am using Launcher Pro 3.1.1. I have no control over when and if he will update mapping.

In bimmercode, I changed 3015. The one shown and changed from 64 to 3C is: EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS

It worked like a charm for me. Now my seat pulls back beyond the original 100mm limit.

Hope this helps!

Hello mate, is this the only parameter you changed?

Thanks

I coded two areas in the CFAS_PLX_1 (Seat Module Driver)

3000 EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE set to: Modus_FA_SLV

In a folder called "3015" in the same CFAS_PLX_1 -> 3015_4_5_255. You need to add a custom value 00x3C

This used to work perfectly for me following the detailed instructions posted under the link. BMW just updated my software and I'm having to redo everything and now can't get this to work. Any suggestion on why, how to fix? I am still able to find the various settings but they are in different areas than the original post instructions refer to.

I've Bimmercode and I would like to code it on my F80 2017 but I have a doubt with the coding process.

During the coding it's required the engine on? or with first ignition only? because if I code with the engine off, then when I try to engine on, the seat will move in in advance. Is this correct? or I'll need to set the memory of my position again?

It's safer to code with engine ON

Done. I just coded and works fine. I did it with the engine OFF and the driver door opened.
When I'ved closed the door, turn off the cluster, and then I opened the door again and the seat has moved back automatically.
Then, I closed the door again, I power on the cluster and the seat retuned back to my memory position that I have in SET 1

Im my case (2017 F80 EURO) the line was on 3012 > EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS > custom value 00x3C

Great mod. Very useful! Fantastic post!

I have coded Easy Entry, and it works.

I used BIMMERCODE to code it. Very easy, and it works great
