I live in PA, helmets are legally optional here. But I get what you're saying. I want to try it and I know the answer here is to get a hub fix in place. Guess I'll hang back and wait for others to post some vids of them having fun with it

Exactly. It's optional to have a hub fix, but I wouldn't do it.

Its definitely on my to do list and definitely inching closer to pulling the trigger and dropping the car off at Kies. I just have to convince my wife while getting this "preventative maintenance" part installed I also need to swap the stock turbos because they are known to just explode and we wouldn't want that to happen with the kids in the car

If you run AntiLag please consider using a CBC or a Full Solution (hub fix and capture), especially for E30-85 tunes.

...and I LOVE the exploding stock turbo excuse! If the wife sees the box I now have a reason.

I've used it several times on original stock hub with CBC installed.

Just got the updated tunes from CJordan today, so can't wait to flash and see if there's a noticeable difference between the basic customROM convert feature in bm3 vs their revision(s).

I do wish it was programmed to position two and downward instead though, especially when you're driving down a not-so-smooth road in an already rough-riding vehicle. Nothing as it is now that can't be improved over use and time, though. Maybe it's just my brain but holding it downward feels more like a natural motion for a "slingshot" effect.
It took some concentration to get it right the first few times and I thought about the same thing you bring up.

I think the hang-up factor with setting it to the hard stop (second position) is that this could trigger the cruise control to set the current speed, which would also automatically throw the DSC into fully on status.

Hey man started a thread on the "Regional Forum"
"North East PA"
Trying to start planning cruise in the near future. Check it out and keep it in mind. I personally hate driving 2-3 hours to go to a cruise.

Btw if I clone my stock rom with the customrom option, will that mean I’m running my stock tune but able to use antilag?

I've literally never used cruise control...if holding it to the second downward position enables it, ignore me. LOL. I had no idea. I have no trouble with it as-is, it's just that natural movement mental association.

Just do the crank hub yourself, it's really not that bad.

Holding it down gives you the ethanol content percentage. I assume you are not running E so therefore you are at 0.

Ahhhh, ok. Nope, not yet. I may dabble down the line.

Moral of the story is get BM3 tune + a crank hub fix and go have a good time. I know I sure am.

Fair enough. But, I had just as much fun enjoying my F8x+bm3 tune before the CBC as I have been having after installing it.

Lucky. I spun my F80s crank on a stock tune with just a mid pipe and intake and I don't drive like a maniac so you can probably empathize with my standing on the matter. If it never happened, I'd be blissfully ignorant to it's cold reality.

I find it difficult to hold the cruise button in the first position for Anti-Lag. The position is very touchy and it engages/disengages multiple times for me.
The 2nd Cruise position would've been a lot easier

Today i stuck my car, i tried to flash multi map stage2 and flash faild at 1%. I retried to flash the car for 5-6 times until the last one flash worked but it took more than 2 minutes to flash. Somehow the dme go again to lock position if i not flash the car more than 1-2 months.
Internet worked perfectly in this time, connection to obd was perfect, every step folowed. I am afraid now to reflash the car anymore.
