I’ll stick with my old modified 911 turbo for fast street touring. I took it for a 16hr drive from Seattle to SF along Oregon coast and loved it. And if I wanted to it’s ok for DEs as well, since it’s closer to 3000lb than 5000lb, and has amazing cooling. No reason I would pay 3x to get an “m” 850. |

Agreed with all comments above
M850i will be sexy, super comfortable, and a straight line beast! If you are a bigger guy/woman, M3/M4 may not be very comfortable. Obviously, the bigger body cars are a better option from a comfort perspective. As much as I love my M3 (knew exactly what I was getting in to), I do prefer the comfort and seat sizing of the 5 series. As far as exhaust note, just add a Meisterschaft / GT Haus exhaust and it will sound like a monster. Probably not available for 850i yet, but they bring all BMW turbo 8's to life! Had one on my F10 550i and it was like a completely different car. One other key point...... Barcelona Blue though

I like the car on Seniorleb more because of the wheels , the silver wheels looks better on this color not the black. Also the car looks best with low light I think but ur car is hot! !!!!! |

Why is it that when I see an 850 I can't help but see a Ford Mustang?? :
Personally for me Senior, I would stick with the M4. But, that's just my perspective. Hope all is well in Dubai my friend. I'm sure you will make the right choice. Best of luck with your decision.

As I stated before....from a SIDE VIEW, and from my perspective the lines look somewhat similiar. And I agree, I would never mistake a mustang for an 850....I was simply stating that the lines look similiar. But, I do see and understand your perspective.

I’m with you and thought the same thing. The fast back roof lines and rear window into the trunk area look very similar. If you put a GT350 in that pick it would even more so IMO due to similar front fender vents.

i should be in an m850....jumping cars too much is just a money pit....but who's to tell you how big your pit can be
the f80 looks so damn good or I woulda jumped from my lease. as to answer your question...if you are not serious on the track...m850 it hands down going to take an f8x on the roads...and v8 if I wasn't so assbent on driving stick I think i woulda have made the move. it looks boss and has the curb appeal. always comes down to GT(most sports cars) and true sports cars (miata, m3 etc....) Im in the wrong segment go figure Save the manuals. theres so many car options now it like fried my brain. When i was 17 looking for cars there was a m3,5,6....nothing else. Just saw the x4m on bmw IG. so ultimately if you can afford it...why not, |

My honest opinion is -
Stick with a real M4 rather than a faux M8. Great looking car though and I doubt you would be disappointed with interior quality. Drive dynamics may let you down though. |
