Yeah... two doors, 4 wheels ... must be a Mustang

Great looking car though and I doubt you would be disappointed with interior quality. Drive dynamics may let you down though.
sad day.... driving dynamics shouldn't be an issue in a BMW...whether M or non-M, guess times have changed..

with regard to an M... just depends on if you want an adrenaline dump every time your behind the wheel.. well that's how it is for me.

Have you not driven anything else from BMWs line up in the last 5-6 years? : BMW went away from driving dynamics as their main design focus years ago except for a few models.

Obviously you haven't read my previous posts. I said from a side view that they look pretty similar, meaning the body lines.

Thanks for the feedback! I am looking for other cars too like the 2019 C63S

It was a hard decision for me between an M4 CS and C63s coupe. In the end, the M car was just too dynamic and fun. Plus I love the analogue dials.

I'm agreeing... just saying it's a shame that it's like that now.

I would say just get some other make/model to switch it up. At the end of the day, M850i is just gonna feel like another BMW, slightly bigger M4.

Lol.....just looking at it from my perspective. Not here to argue, or insult.....but from my perspective the exterior body lines look pretty similar ( meaning from the side.) Now, the interior, that is definitely a different story.
And No, I don't wear or need eye glasses, but thanks for your suggestion.
I'm not trying to be insulting. My comment does look snarky, but I have no way of knowing if you need, or currently wear corrective glasses It's just boggling for me to, repeatedly, read the mustang comparison when I just can't see the resemblance no matter which angle I use to look at the two cars.

The trouble is, I'm not sure what bmw is doing to differentiate themselves anymore. Sure their interiors are nice in a practical, uncluttered way, but they don't exactly stand out. It's the same with their exterior design, nice in a generally conservative way, but nothing very gripping. Performance is fast in a straight line, but otherwise numb and detached, with the exception of a few M models. They've introduced some new gimmicky tech toys, but again, nothing truly inspiring. Finally, their focus on the evolution of automotive technology and design has seemed like an after thought as well. Sure, they have some plug in hybrid variants, and the over-priced, under performing i8, but otherwise there doesn't appear to be anything very inspiring on the horizon (at least nothing I'm aware of that's been revealed).

We all used to want a bmw because their cars truly straddled the line between reasonable quality/luxury, practicality, and offering an engaging drive. Recently, cost cutting measures have taken their toll on perceived quality, and the driving dynamics have been diluted in favor of comfort on run flat tires. The question is, how much longer can the brand differentiate itself on reputation alone? When will everyone just start laughing at the naked emperor? Maybe the new g* chassis designs will change the course... I have yet to drive one, but so far feedback has been somewhat positive, if a bit mixed. Maybe the g8* M cars will exceed expectations...

This is how I got my M4. The previous owner had a 2016 M4, barely drove it, took it to the dealer for a car wash and there was an M850. He decided to get the M850 and trade in his M4. My benefit was the car only had 3600 miles on it so I saved depreciation and got basically a new 2016 M4.
