I don't know why people are judging based on this simple post.
It doesn't matter what I am ( or PEOPLE) gonna eat today or tomorrow. The question is what's for dessert? Jeez guys. Thx for those positive feedback anyway. " buying a car 20% of the net worth bla bla bla " Did I mention about how much money in my bank? Lol take it easy fellas. No need to be blastin on someone 😂 |

Last thing I would do is take financial advice from “high rollers” on a BMW forum . . . Maybe from a few on Ferrarichat, but not bimmerpost . . . I’ve been super wealthy and dang near broke thanks to property and stock losses in 2008/2009. I was happy when I was up and happy when I was down . . . for the most part . . . so just live life to the fullest and do what makes you happy. There is no guarantee you will be around tomorrow, next week or next year. Last edited by 996ttelise; 02-24-2018 at 05:46 PM.. |

A lot of interesting posts here about finances on what is suppose to be a lighthearted thread. I think $3.5 million in cash is quite a lot of money to have and spending up to $1m with the rest towards an investment is still a very sensible choice (me being a young professional, I'd use that remainder $2.5m towards building my practice and my investments). Saying that having $3.5m is not enough to purchase at least 1 super car is ridiculous...
But anyways in regards to the game, I think I'd keep the M4 as a daily, buy an DB11/vantage as my fancy/classy street car, then an audi R8 as my exotic as you don't really get that engine note from anywhere (maybe a used LFA?), and then finally either a Ford GT or the upcoming GT3 RS as a track car if you're into that. I know you only mentioned 1 car but I think the perks of having a large disposable income is that you have the ability to experience multiple, and as many of these amazing machines as possible. |

If however the OP is an unemployed person with few skills and 8 dependents - then buying an exotic would be a really bad choice.

I know of many colleagues here in sf Bay Area who are a few years out of b school and have student loan debts and are paying over $4/mo rent. As a result, a couple making $200k/yr gross could feel like they are struggling because it's taking them a super long time to put together a downpayment to get into any home or condo because the area is so costly Edit: I saw an AMG GTR the other day and I would put that on the list for OP to consider |

This is a car forum guys and gals. Have fun for once and save the bullshit for some other thread.
It was a simple/fun question and should just get a simple/fun answer. |

It's almost claustrophobic back there and at speed I felt strangely out of sorts by the tight confines, so don't put people you like back there. But the front seats are like you can probably imagine of a $400,000 Ferrari GT car, exceedingly comfortable. The power from the V12 is very intoxicating and the AWD works very well in Minnesota. |
