My car wont move.

I was on my way to work today entered the free way when from 1st to 2nd and i heard a loud noise. Almost like something fell in the engine or transmission. Then the car lost all power. It goes into gears no problem but its not moving. The power isnt going to the wheels. I currently have DP's, charge pipes, intakes, BM3 stage 2 91oct tune. I manged to get it rolling in 1st gear going 10mph only and got back home. What is the issue here??

I put a stock tune in the car and checked for codes but nothing comes up. Dont know what to do

If it goes into gear the car would move

Driveshaft - engine revs and feels like it's going but no power sent to the wheels.
Snapped axle means also no power to the wheel. Yoh have a locked diff but not sure if it would still work since it's electronic

My money is in either one. Can you push the car and hear noise ?

How does the motor sound? Any noticeable change in how it idles, knocking sounds, vacuum sounds, etc?

Has to be.
Any chance you can take the wheel off to inspect the axle? Or jack up safely and get under ? Use stands - don't get under the car with just the jack supporting it.

I had to leave my car home and took a uber to work. But I will definitely try this when I get home. I think I have to take it to a shop.
Thank you!

I think if it was the tranny it would be stuck in a gear or have issues going into gear though?

Apparently people believe that dealers and BMW are going to spend time going through message boards to track down users with modded cars to deny claims.

They do and people have gotten warranty claims denied.

Its a 2016 so probably not under warranty. If it rolled in 1st gear then it still sent some power from engine to diff.

BMW don't need to browse forums for that. Just plugging in the car at the dealer is enough to know everything. Even if you have a piggy back that's turned off, BMW will know.

Very correct they can see the PSI the car was boosting. When a car is tuned it will be higher then what stock should be so they will definitely know if you wanted to. Now lets just hope they aren't too anal about that seeing how its not really engine problem.
