Due to his small shop, my barber has had to implement some new rules to stay open. One of these is that you're to wait in your car until he texts you that he's ready for you. As I was waiting for my appointment today, the car elicited a literal wolf whistle from a passing cyclist. I think that's the first time that's ever happened with any car I've had.

How did you convince HRE to sell you the regular center caps on FF wheels? I inquired, and they wouldn't without a serial # of their forged line.

I don’t believe the forged ones fit. You’d have to find an old school original set of center caps to fit the FF wheels. I inquired and they said they don’t offer them on the FF wheels so found some replicas. I think HREs should offer the white/blue/red center caps on their FF wheels. It’s a classic color center cap. The black/grey center caps look and feel cheap and rattles due to poor fitment in my opinion.

Same year/colour except F82 vs F83! Nice to have met up with him!

Suspect we are the only 2 AYs over here!

I actually like it that they only do the red white and blue on the forged. Gives it that little extra exclusiveness

Pls explain. Is this how those exotics who run front plates get them bent nicely to follow the bumper lines?

Originally they used double sided tape but because of the bend in the bumper it kept peeling off on one side. Ended up using screws in all four corners in existing holes. Not sure what you mean exotic the plate is fixed central to the bumper

Used Simonz Matt Black High Temperature spray for the chrome side vents. The Matt kind of breaks it up more for me and ties in with the carbon.

Gotcha, I see. Nah, was referring to some cars, with the euro/longer style plate affixated nicely to the bumper. It had to be contoured somehow to lay flat nicely and definitely doesn't look like it was done by a mallet. Example below.
