I think I already know the answer to this, but would like confirmation.

I am dropping my car off at the dealer for service tomorrow and was planning to flash back to stock and relock the DME. Given that my DME was unlocked by bench and not through the new OBD II unlock, will I have any issues unlocking via OBD II afterwards? I assume I wouldn't have any issue, but just looking for confirmation.

Thanks!

* User adjustment of Boost control and integration with PI and Meth.?

Cheers!

Just got my tune yesterday, m3 competition package with stage 1 OTS.

Question: I think the answer is yes, but I do I have to flash a separate map for the GTS transmission?

IIRC you have to flash the trans separately. Do you see the option on the list? I can't seem to remember right now.

Yes you have to flash the GTS transmission flash separately. I believe it's under a different menu.

Thanks, I thought recall reading it a while back in this thread and I did see the map in a different menu, so that’s what triggered it.

Thanks.

Great thanks!

Also, I really don't plan on adding bolt ons for a while anyone running stock set up with the tune and if so how do you like it?

Anything to be cautious of ?

For me Stage 1 made the stock car feel really slow. They’ve been out and through refinement for over 2 years now and probably thousands of people running them. You’ll see about 21-22psi on it

Just curious, how would one switch to BM3 if say already tuned with another OBD2 flash?

You can flash back to stock, then unlock/flash the BM3 tune. Usually we'll update also when overwriting the old flash.

So when I got OBD2 flashed, my DME already went through an unlock process. Switching to another tune requires another re-lock / unlock?

If getting updated/flashed at the dealer or dealer-equivalent tool, yes. BM3 will handle the unlocking/flashing process. The unlocking process is done in the background during flashing, not really an issue anymore.

Just loaded the E30 map and I dont know why but it feels like it either pulls the same or not as hard as the regular stage 2 otc map.
