How come the pictures of these cars don't have side reflectors? Are these European models?

Agreed. Everything looks appealing to me except for those wheels. They’d be a deal deal breaker if it weren’t for the fact that swapping wheels is absolutely trivial. Plus, I could just order it with the black 437M instead.

Guys, the 666 wheels visually sets the CP apart from the standard M model. The 437 come standard as a 19” offering when ordered over the 18s, which most do.

Not sure why anyone would go for this, given minimal HP increase. Check out Dinan or others!

Some people just don't like the design. I'm glad BMW gave buyers the option to order the 437's rather than the Triple-6's (..just like they did with previous model ///M's when people preferred the polished 19's, for example over the mesh wheels made by BBS).

So I recently purchased a 2020 M4 F82 and it has the Executive & Competition packages.

I have researched this and cannot seem to find the exact answer I am looking for...the questions I have from the OP's description on post #1 (see below) is whether the M Sports Exhaust system is the same as the M Performance exhaust? Mine has the M Performance exhaust (says it across the muffler) and with Carbon Fiber tips not black chrome tips.

That is what I was thinking BUT I don't see the titanium M Performance exhaust offered as an option on any data I have researched for the 2020 M4????

M performance parts are add ons from the bmw individual site. You can request dealers to add it on to your car which then becomes an individual order and takes usually longer to produce. For example, on the new g80s, individual parts include the m performance wing or individual colors, etc

Hi Folks, I seem to be reviving and old thread.

Question: Is there anywhere on the body interior or exterior minus the clues listed at the beginning of this thread that would indicate you have a competition model? Is "Competition" inscribed anywhere???

None of the VIN decoder sites seem to be working, i've tried at least 10 of them.

PM me the last 7characters of your VIN and I can confirm whether its a Competition model or not.

For info, 469 MY2017 F80 M3s were produced for the US in Mineral Grey:-
- 164 x M3
- 305 x M3 Competition

The comps have holes in the seat backs and blackout trim/badges. Easiest was to tell other than a vin check.
