Easy Access Seats with ignition

Hello Again-

OK playing with settings-

My driver's seat is working nearly perfectly for easy access- one hiccup-

When I get out, the seat goes back just as it should. However, when I close the door it moves forward again- this is- independent of whether I'm actually sitting in the car or not. So this movement is entirely based on the door opening/closing, not ignition. If I get out (seat is back), close the door (seat moves forward), then go to reopen the door, the seat doesn't come back- it's in the driving position until the car is turned off again.

How do I make it stay in the "easy access" position until I restart the car?

Thanks

The seat shouldn't move the 2nd time.

My get-out sequence is: ignition off, open door, seat moves back, get out, close door (seat doesn't move a 2nd time.)

Get-in sequence: open door, get in, ignition, close door, seat moves forward, drive off.

So sounds like you've inadvertently changed some values to result in this behavior. Suggest you get all parameters back to the published values.

that's what I figured as well. I was hoping someone might have known right away what parameter I might have set that could do this so I could quickly change it.

I noticed that the seat sensor related to airbag activation and seat belt reminder is also connected to the seat movement. When you close the door without engine on or ignition, if you get of the seat without opening the door, the seat goes back. Also after turning off the engine, you open the door, the seat goes back...but if put your hand on the seat with some pressure or weight..after closting the door, the seat will move forward even if you are not seated after closing the car..

I must have tweaked something extra because my seat moves every time the door opens and closes- irregardless of ignition. All of my settings match the above. Would "comfort" options mess with this?

i remember seeing a "comfort" piece in one of the modules. I'm currently on a ship and won't be back till May. Is there a way, using my saved files, to be able to open the modules within Esys (as if I wanted to simulate coding)?

Unfortunately esys can only open list of generated SVTs, but once you want to access the CAFD, you will need to connect your laptop to your car
