I still don't understand the cage. This does not look like a track car - but I'm probably just not informed.

If there's no rush and you have the means for a proper track setup, why not go all the way if you know it's something you plan to enjoy for the rest of your life? Everyone has a different approach to enjoying their hobby. No right or wrong way. But to roast OP for the path he's choosing to take is kinda lame. That's all.
If you're going all the way just buy a track car and a trailer instead of spending too much turning such a new street car into one. You do as you wish with your money but it seems like such a waste to me... There kind of is a hurry since the point is actually going to the event and getting seat time, not hardparking and getting insta likes. That said, I have nothing against "track inspired" show cars and it's the owner's choice.

I personally couldn't justify to track 80K car plus 25K or so in mods.
You can definitely get decent race track prepared car and the trailer for 20-25K

OP was just trying to share his car with everyone here with good intentions. Do you guys roast people this hard for getting race seats in a stock car without taking out the airbag, getting 6pt harnesses and then not wearing a HANS in the street ? Coz even changing out your stock seats for race or aftermarket seats may have a negative safety effect.

Huh? Nobody is roasting anything or anybody here. Just stating facts about safety. That's all.

How about a compromise with the hood? Paint and no paint.

Beautiful!

It reminds me of my old e46 Imola red; loved that car. BUT, not as much as I would love your car. Haha

Sick build!! Really nice brother! Did you have a hard time fitting the RSC lip with the carbon splitters? Did it still line up flush or you had to work it a bit?

Thanks

What's with the extra doors? Is that so you can fit the PVC pipes from Home Depot easier ?
