Looking at the discount alone, that's too much compared to last month with the same lease programs. I got 16% before incentives.
Discount is too much? I'm a bit confused.

I'll see if I can push for 16% before incentives. He's at about 13% at the moment.

I mean you're paying too much because the discount is low.

Yes that's what I usually do, but I don't think there's any SMB CS's left in the area. Gotta take a look and see. Thanks for the advice.

I'll ask about the MF.
Trading in a 2018 base 6spd F80 with 10k miles and perfect condition, not even curb rash. It's a lease and they matched the payoff so I breakeven on that. Not sure about that dealer tax.
No need to negotiate in person. If they're not willing to do a better deal I would find a different dealer. You're at least $7,000 off from this being a solid deal. Also, what is your trade legitimately worth? Dealerships always play games on trade-ins. Do you think it's a coincidence what they're offering you is identical to your payoff?

I agree. I went to carmax and they were giving me 58k for my 18m3zcp with 8k miles so his trade off can be higher.

That's right. I negotiated $62k for my 18 M3 ZCP with 7,000 miles. They tried to give me $58k which was my payoff...yeah right!

KBB said it's worth between 52-55k trade in.

My local store with the SMB M3CS just transitioned to a one hr deal / one price (market based)/ volume model .

They want 99k selling price for 102k sticker car on the floor.

My CA was firm on having to follow the model.

Lame. Gotta start a new relationship with another store or continue shopping out of state.

Some of the dealerships haven't yet realized what it takes to move these cars. If you look across the country, some dealerships are listing them for 10-14k off on their website.

That's cause BMW is going flagship money to move them. Some dealers are fine sitting on them I guess.

You cannot walk to a BMW dealership in California, Miami, West Palm Beach and expect them to give you the maximum discount.

Yeah $5k to move these CSs. Meaning they are giving dealers $5k which is part of the reason you are seeing such large advertised discounts.
