Thumbs up Alpine Stage 2 vs Lamborghini Huracan

Hey guys I made a video when me and a few buddies cruised downtown. My buddy is lucky enough to own a Lamborghini Huracan and an Acura NSX. I have to say I was surprised to admit the NSX is a sexier car 95% of the time. But the sound, the pure sexy sound out of the Huracan is music. Anyway, skip ahead to the 2:55 mark, we did two runs. The second one was a little better, but I got the hit. He had an M4, so he wasn't very surprised. But even after owning all these supercars he still has a soft spot for the M3/4. As for the tune I've driven countless tuned M3/4s and I have yet to feel a more consistent and smooth powerband like Alex Alpine offers. It's not the fastest, but it is sure enjoyable. These cars are so underrated, enjoy the video !

The tune may not be the fastest tune out there. But it’s consistency, overall additional power and drivability make it all worth it

Agree - I had Alex's tune on my F80 for 2 1/2 years and never had a single hiccup. Alex was also always kind enough to flash back to stock - then retune - every time I head a dealership trip for maintenance as well.

My exact feelings with him and his tune! Definitely have faster tunes out there, but for peace of mind and reliability I think Alpine tunes are excellent.

Coming from a previous bootmod3 stage 1 and 2.

Got alex's alpine tune stage 2 and i completely agree! In terms of power its enough to blow you away, But not to the point you have to worry about the engine blowing everytime you push it. His transmission and steering flash is magic as well!

Reminds me alot of the old E92/E90 M3(just faster).
Where you feel in control of the car vs the car being in control of you!

Y'all do the alpine stage 1, 2, or 2+?

Ability to actually apply the power is an important consideration for me and that's what's kept me from tuning (aside from SCH concerns).

OP, that was a really enjoyable video! Nice editing and genuinely fun unlike so many of these contrived car presenters' content.

Exactly, if your a person that wants to extract every HP/TQ and beat the next guy this tune isn't for you. And I always make that clear. But if you want to have reasonable fun, not to say it's slow or lacking power then this is the tune for you. And you are 100% right that's why I have the same tune for my E90 M3 haha. I love Alex Alpine's products and his knowledge. I love that my car is dead reliable and fun! I also think Alpine's steering/EDC/diff coding is a must. Makes the traction control useful, launch control actually effective, all while maintaining a great ride comfort for daily. It's a win in my books!

I've tried Alpine stage 1, 2 and 2+. I mean they are all fun, but who would've thought the one with the most power gains would be most fun lol. Well all the tunes were great, but the stage 2+ consistency, reliability and drive is AWESOME! My car now has 55K, and the car was tuned since 7K. Not a single issue at all, not even a CEL. As for putting the power down, if your not comfortable with having traction fully off, you will never experience the full power of the car. Because if you pay attention even with MDM, the traction flickers towards top of RPM and in between gear shifts. Although it is for a second, it does slow the momentum. Again, you will still enjoy the car thoroughly with traction fully on or on MDM mode. Also, tire size and compound play a huge role in laying down the power.

As for the compliment to the video, I really do appreciate it man. I work in healthcare and do this for fun. I'm always doing something car related, why not share? No I'm not the best editor, nor do I have the best camera equipment but I want to share the fun that can be had with these types of cars.
