Cobra Suzuka Pro-GT (Pair)

I recently replaced my Cobra seats in order to test Sparco QRT-C. I still find these Cobra's to be the best fitting, most supportive, and most attractive race seat. The version I have is particularly appealing as it's kevlar reinforced and has a fantastic jersey fabric, leather accents, and white stitching. The new version of the Cobra Suzuka Pro is now using a more plain fabric and a few pounds heavier.

Description: Cobra Suzuka Pro - GT (wide version) with Cobra Alloy Side Mounts. Kevlar Reinforced.

Age: These seats are from 2016 with FIA Approval through 2021

Condition: Good Condition. The backs and all visible portions of hard surface are in excellent condition. There are some minor blemishes from where side mount contacted the seat when installed (unavoidable and not visible when installed), plus a few surface scratches on the bottom of the seat (not visible when installed). I wanted to tone down the logos so I dyed them black using a fabric dye pen. I did also try to remove the embroidered logo. I made it as far as the "C" of Cobra on one of the seats before I aborted. It's not noticeable when installed in the car. Side mounts have scratches on the inside of 2 of them (not visible when installed).

Fit: They have similar dimensions in the seat area as the Recaro PP, Recaro Profi-XL, and the Cobra QRT-R (and C). Unlike the Recaro PP, the shoulder pass-throughs are large and at a proper height for people over 5'7". I'm 5'11", 185 lbs and they fit me wonderfully. The side bolstering is relatively high, which is great on track. The lower seat area is relatively wide while the bolstering is high. They worked nicely on street as the width was generous and comfortable, while the bolstering is high enough to provide great support on track.

Inner Dimensions for comparison (cushion to cushion in lower seat):

Cobra Suzuka Pro GT - 390mm

Sparco QRT-R & C - 380mm
Recaro PP - 380mm
Recaro Profi XL - 376mm
Recaro Profi - 340mm

Location: Santa Barbara, CA - Given our current lock-down status I'm happy to ship

Price: XX$950XXPrice drop - NOW $895 for the pair including alloy side mounts (Plus shipping and PayPal fees)

Original MSRP:

Seats - $850 x 2 = $1700
Mounts - $140 x 2 = $280
Total - $1980

OE Seats - 63lbs ea (E92), 58 lbs (F82)

Cobra Seats - 21lbs
Plus whatever mounting system you decide to use.

I was running them with BK side mounts with OE sliders and the package totaled 37 lbs. Net savings of about 50 lbs +/- over stock seats. You can save another 20+ lbs by going with BK direct to floor mounts without sliders. This is one of the greatest weight savings measures you can do to the car. Between seats, lithium battery, and a titanium exhaust you could save 100 to 150 lbs.
