Mode Carbon GTS Front Lip

So after much anticipation, my Mode Carbon GTS front splitter arrived. First impressions were "Holy %#@#, this thing is bigger than I thought!" (Yes, that's what she said). The packaging was more than adequate, as it was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap, as well as foam. After unwrapping, I definitely had a huge grin on my face. From the glossy clearcoat, to the beautiful carbon 2x2 weave underneath.

For the install: Took roughly 30 minutes. Undo the 10 14mm bolts that hold the plastic undercarriage guard, peel off the tape, re-bolt with provided new hardware, and you are finished. No drilling, cutting, self tapping screws, etc. EASY!

Big shoutout to Sam@ModeCarbon for the exceptional quality and fitment. I could not be more pleased with how this turned out. It was 200% worth the wait.

Congrats. Always liked the v2 version of this lip.

Real life advice... "That's what she said" moved on when it became the default response of every teenager in 2005. You should move on too.

This is a 2x2 carbon weave? It looks like 1x1- but I could be wrong. Regardless, looks really nice!

Nope you are correct, it is a 1x1. My mistake.

Recommend putting some self tap screws in front where tape is. I was on autobahn and the front ripped right off and destroyed the lip. I made sure to clean with alcohol prior to installing as well. However, if you aren't travelling at high speeds, I suspect it wouldn't come off. The worse part? I want another one. lol.

That's crazy! I've had mine up to 149 and had no issues at all. The provided hardware + 3m tape seems to be holding up fine. I wonder if something hit yours?

I am curious, has anyone seen or have any photos of this GTS front lip along with the upper m performance style CF splitters?
