Reset EDC after spring install

There was a brief mention of "resetting EDC" after spring install in the Eibach Spring thread that is like 30 pages of posts. Does anyone have experience with this? It was regarding a recalibration of the EDC to adjust for the height difference? Can anyone comment on this? Thanks.

If you have access to ISTA-D, you can easily do it by yourself. If not, i can send you the download link.

Appreciate it, my question is does it actually make a difference to do it ? And if I code CS EDC does it automatically reset ? Would appreciate any experience anyone has , thanks.

Easy to figure out. The program is not very intuitive but I promise a few min in and you will figure out how.

Thanks appreciate it, guess I didn't find it because you called it ICM calibration. What does that stand for?

i only do the recalibration if i got chassis malfunction error after changing springs/coding to CS EDC, if there's no error then i wont do that.

but from my experience, if you want to code cs edc you have to recalibrate the edc sensors.

ICM = integrated chassis module.

The height sensors need to be recalibrated regardless of errors. They are one of the main sensors that determines how much damping the EDC provides, and if they aren't calibrated, the dampers will get incorrect commands.

Are you sure they have to be calibrated after coding? I believe I coded mine correctly and did not get any chassis errors. Unless I need to have ISTA+ to actually see any errors that would come up.

After just coding? No, not if your ride height didn't change. If your ride height changes, you need to recalibrate, regardless of coding.

No recalibration needed at all if no fault present.

No, the ecu takes your new ride high just as default. Even with the Performance HAS kit no calibration is needed.

Calibration is only needed if the ecu lost the ride high, or you're out off range like on bags.
