If someone gave you $40,000 and said you have to spend it on your M3/4, what would you do?

I would buy:

Custom Tune
Pure Turbo Upgrade
Brembo 6 Piston BBK front and 4 piston rear (red)
MSR Cold Air Intake
Akra Catless DPs
M Perf Carbon Fiber Mirrors
M Perf exhaust w/ CF tips / Akra / AWE (can't decide)
M Perf Front splitters and CF lip, spoiler, diffuser, console trim, shift knob, seat backs, and steering wheel.
Full Clear Bra to protect my beast

I'm sure I'm missing other mods I would buy if I looked harder.

I’m not sure I could get myself to spend $40K on mods even with someone else’s money. But I would happily use it to cover all the lease payments.

Id buy an extended warranty to last the life of the car. Id buy lots of break pads, tires, and washer blades. Id take the rest of the money left and put it all into the best possible sounds system I could get.

^^^ best answer so far, and by a wide margin...except i'd pass on the sounds, get a set of R101s, a square Apex set and a pile of Hoosiers.

Same here. I have a hard time justifying $4k on an exhaust on a depreciating asset let alone $40k. Unless this is like Brewster’s Million where I end up with more money for spending it all 😂.

Yes, I consider the above an investment in the car because the most expensive performance mods mean nothing if my skills cannot use them.
