I think those are incandescent. There is a brighter area in the middle which suggests a bulb with dimmer outer area.

And the area you think might be LEDs, I think that's just the fresnel lens in the taillight assembly that makes it look like separate elements.

Look I want to believe too, but if I were forced to wager on it - I'd bet incandescent all day long.

The rear fenders on the M4 remind me of the how the Carrera 4 / Turbo body looks compared to the narrowbody.

Yes but thank God it's painted or these guys would really have something to be proud of.

On the non-LED subject. I agree that it is moronic not to have LEDs until the LCI update. But i believe this is the last time it will happen. I've heard from 2 sources that starting with the next gen of BMWs (the G gen), BMW models will have a 5 year life span instead of the 7-8 year we have now. So we won't have anymore pre-LCI vs LCI anymore. One model, 5 years that's it

its retarded that the turn signals are LED but the brake lamps are not. even from a safety standpoint there's a bigger advantage to having the brake lamps light up faster than having the guy behind you see you signal a lane change...

I believe in order to get the CCB you need the 19" wheels. Atleast that was how the order guide was for the launch cars.
