Can you code fog lights to turn on at the same time when the Corona Rings are on too?

Yes. There was an option to turn those on too, but I chose not to. I will break the tabs on the button on the dash so I can do it manually however.

I believe he's referring to rear fogs (...at least that's what I thought he was referring to being that we are in the F80/F82 forum), but you can code the fogs to be on with the corona rings on cars that have them.

Now, why would one want the rear fogs to turn on with the DRL corona rings ? I think that would be pretty annoying to following traffic.

I think he meant the front fogs, forgetting that this is the F8X forum. I was just being a little facetious with my reply .

I drive with my rear fogs on sometimes. They aren't that bright.

Same here - even in direct/full sun - no clouds. Oddly, when it was heavily overcast and drizzling, the headlamps were not on.

At my most recent scheduled service, I asked the dealer to take a look b/c the pedestrian and front collision sensor displayed a failure. The dealer said there were no stored faults, and everything is working normally??

Um.....sounds like something an easily offended Hilary supporter would say. Gotta relax. It's just a light bulb.

I keed, I keed (....about the over-sensitive Hilary supporter part, not the relax part).

My headlights are always on regardless of what I do. Is this a hardware issue?

It only started happening last week.

I figured it out last night.

Here are the steps to fix:

1) Remove driver side AC duct by pulling it off carefully.

2) Reach in and feel for the wire that connects to the headlight switch.

3) Turn on car. Headlight should be "stuck" on.

4) Remove the wire from the headlight switch.

5) Switch the switch to headlight off position.

6) Reinsert wire. Headlight should now turn off. Everything should work now.

It seems like the connection point is the issue here… might become loose over time for whatever reason.
