Car goes to Neutral after burnout

Hi all went to a private roadway with a lot of space and decided to do a standstill burnout hitting the accelerator then play with the brakes a little, after that the car went straight to neutral is this normal?

Im guessing the car detected high temps in the DCT and put it into neutral to protect itself.
