Honestly I am not impressed with the M4 in GT6. Compared to the e92 M3, it understeers a lot more and immediately transitions into a quick oversteer when you get on the power. The e92 M3 feels a lot more linear in its power delivery, thus making it easier to control. I understand this is based on a video game, but just wanted to share my opinion.

The M4 feels a lot quicker than the e92 M3 in the game; HOWEVER, it sounds like an angry vacuum cleaner. The e92--while not completely accurate--sounds much meatier, in contrast. I had to buy my M4 in Mineral White, though, so I could have the paint chip to use to make my real-life Mineral White e92!

BTW, nice photos guys! I can never work that thing like that!

The 4's headlights are different from the 3's? Hmmm, I thought they were the same.

that's what you get when combined Turbo Torque + Electric Steering

Go outside people. Fresh air is good for you
You'd be surprised at how realistic the simulations are on this game regarding comparing one car to another. The lap times end up being very similar to reality. I have a stock M3 in the game and also an M3 with roughly the same mods I've made to my car, so I can drive them back to back for comparison. The results of the mods in the game are remarkably identical to the mods in real life. I've driven a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Aventador, and a Corvette (on a track) after driving them in Gran Turismo and I was really surprised at how unsurprised I was. Due to the game, I pretty much knew what to expect regarding what my impression of them would be.
Check out this video.

GT6 = £42
M3 = £56,000+

I know I'd prefer the latter but I have a much easier time justifying the former

Aghh, I spent 120k for this in the game then discovered it has its own special BMW launch event in the game where you win it for a fast lap! Won that so sold my original 3 days later for 38k....depreciation time bomb

Can't comment on the accuracy to reality, usually not far off in the GT series to be fair.

The M4 is a beast in this game, so easy to control and brake, other sports cars feel so heavy in comparison, Just a game but TBF they're usually pretty accurate.

The M3 sedan looks so much more TOUGHER, than the sleek, beautiful & feminine M4 coupe. It is confusing & makes zero sense, why the coupe (a singles person's car) looks so girly, but the family sedan, looks so manly & tough..

I see a lot of singles guys buying M3s, because the M4 coupe sends a weird mix message of femininity..! Very little testosterone in the M4 dna. Maybe BMW is appealing to all the women coupe drivers out there.. who wants sleek'ness? (Women see men in a sedan = married) (Women sees man in M4, she thinks metro-sexual, due to the elegant and sexy lines of the car.)

The M4 has no street presence, no stance. I hope it is all a photo illusion and will see so myself next week at NAIAS.
