Rolling antilag, map switching and flex fuel are functionally complete. We're going through internal testing and there are updates to the bm3 map editor which are on the way as well. This is a BIG update, you guys will really enjoy it!

proTUNING Freaks Any hints as to the compatibility of certain flex-fuel sensors and how integration with the DME will be supported?

I've been foaming at the mouth for this feature ever since you announced it, lol

Did I miss where they announced it won’t be until spring time?

I meant purchase of BM3 and spring is when my car gets out of storage.

I have 2 questions:

1. Does the OEM map have any anti lag features, and how does it compare with the BM3? I’m thinking the BM3 feature might be OEM-like but with parameters that can be modified, but I could be wrong.

2. Could this be used for track driving? Trying to figure out a good use case for a track environment.

Much obliged...

Wow... tons of posts...

1. Do you mean the (your?) "Stock" map? - No.

There may be a bit of confusion here, on my part here but, "BM3" is "Bootmod3",
which is the name of the App. It has various/multiple (configurable) tunes
(maps to flash/upload) available within it. It is not a "feature".

Or, is the specific "feature" (map >adjustable parameter within?) that you are
referring to, the anti-lag? If so,

2. It is ideally best suited (curves) for circuit track days. You really wouldn't notice
it or it actually come into play, otherwise.

Appreciate the answers, and apologies for the confusion in my post.

Yes I meant the anti lag feature with its associated parameters that will be available in the BM3 app. I currently run the OTS maps from PTF.

That is strange, I was under the impression the OEM stock maps have some sort of anti lag at high RPMs in Sport+. Oh well... I’ll have to try it next time I’m on track...

Ok., "PTF" = "Pro Tuning Freaks"??

They are the makers of "BM3". If you are running they're OTS maps, you are running them from, "BM3".

Throwing this in here as well, copied from the map switching demo thread:

==========

Hey guys, we're nearing the release

If we were releasing one feature at a time you'd see them all right after each demo, and this is how we've typically done things in the past. In this case we're doing a full rollout of everything together including everything we've demoed so far, including:
  1. Map Switching
  2. Flex Fuel
  3. Antilag
  4. Fully Overhauled Tuning Editor
There are a few other features as well that we haven't demoed that are being released together and we'll write all of this up in the release announcement. There are others we're also working on but we'll be releasing those as we go not to hold this back any longer from everyone.

The way we've done everything for all of the above features mirrors factory logic and safeties and preserves them in place which can't be said for other solutions out there.

Going forward we'll stagger our releases so everyone can enjoy them as we finish with them
