Well this blows.. Looks like to use antilag on my current custom tune with Cary we have to pay another $450 for the conversion? I thought this was a free feature. I've already hit convert on my computer and it said it duplicated the existing custom tune but will now allow antilag and other features. This sucks.

I read the new release notes posted in a link a page back. We may be able to request the self-tuner be enabled on our account, so we can pick our slots.

I've got a case open to PTF and they are responding. Will see how we can set up our 4 slots...I need my Stock map, Stg2 93, Stg2 E30 and my Paul map all loaded.

That’s not how this works at all

You get one tune (map) and the. Within the tune you can have 4 different slots for variations of what each slot is for. (Specific maps/tables within said tune can be adjusted per map)

It’s not a complete “tune” in each slot.

That doesn't make sense I thought just by converting the map it adds antilag functionality to it? I know PTF said you can customize antilag even further to adjust things like what rpm you can enable it at and other things so maybe that's what he's talking about? I would go try it out with my Cary tune but I was never able to get the BM3 agent to work on my laptop so I can't flash until the iPhone app gets updated

How many variations of stage 2 93 octane do you need? If you look at the maps they have listed they are quite different and this does not line up with what you have stated.

When you originally bought BM3 did you pay access to to all the available OTS tunes as well?

I have access to all the OTS tunes (old and new) and can download into my tunes folder for no cost.

No i only got the ots 91 stage 2 tune bro, i knew i was going to get custom so i didn't spend the extra money. Wish me luck guys, i just converted my Cary tune over to the rom tune and successfully flashed the car. Btw HyeM3 don't forget i live like 5 min away from you lol, i could always swing by and flash your shit with my laptop. Bm3 already installed brotha 😉

From what I understand, when you convert any Rom it adds a "ots antilag". It's not customisable but works as per the wiki. Which is anytime over 3k rpm with the cruise dial held in the light click up position, then floor it, release dial and go

They reference boost, timing, fuel etc which are what make the tune adjustments for various stages and fueling i.e what jimmy and I are after should work. I can have custom or ots maps, the dme should be author agnostic.

Well that answers some questions, thank you! Looks like we can convert and use OTS antilag using default settings. Basically to button it up even more we need our custom tuners to play around with the custom rom. Testing right now with a custom map as we speak, will post results in 10 min.

Update: well that was a fail.. it did nothing. Did 3200rpm in 3rd gear, held the cruise control switch in the first up position for a few seconds and pressed the pedal down all the way. Nothing. Rpm just went up like normal. Am i doing something wrong?

Try to do it from a dig to verify if it holds at 3k rpm...

I just mixed up a tank of E30 today so I can't play with Antilag. I converted my E30 Stg2 map to a CustomROM copy and flashed it but my car ran like it was a 91/93 map, all chugging and rough idle. I flashed back to my original E30s2 and it runs fine again.

Got the same message. I could care less for antilag. Im in it for flex fuel and il gladly

Flex fuel seems the move since we can’t do the custom maps integrated with ots. My question is, if you run the flex and have E85, will we make as much power as the custom Paul and Cary tunes?
