Thanks that is good news, my guess is the 2015 LCI F30 will have this as well.

The F80 is going to be so great looking. It takes all the best bits from the F32/F82 like better LED lights, front bumper, carbon roof, and leaves off the one part of the F82 I don't care for, the CSL trunk.

Are we sure that's Silverstone? Looks like not enough blue/green in it.

Except for that side vent which is even more obvious now in these pictures. I don't know about you but I hate how it looks on the 4 series and the M4. And were just oh so lucky to have gotten it on the M3.

I think the side vent looks great on the F8x cars. Not so much on the F3x cars...

Wrong.

The M5 uses 19" rims and tons of spokes. The 5-twin spoke 343Ms are optional, and they certainly are not the ones shown here. The 19" 351M rims on the F10 M-Sports (also on 520d/528i Euro, 530/5d, and 550i).

I don't think these are the same.

Did anyone catch what kind of roof was on this one? Since it's black it's hard to tell if it has CF or not

The carbon fiber roof will have a double hump/bubble look to it like on the M4 Concept.

The new M3's fenders look so wide they are starting to look like those tacky aftermarket wide-body kits. Still looks GREAT! ...but getting close to "too much" for me.

That's what I said, looks like glacier silver.

BMW - Masters at marketing?? Does anyone else think these "random" encounters are staged? Not that I would care if they are as the vids are cool to watch regardless.

I'm thinking that's a microphone or some other sensor...

Oh yes, F80 M3, you will be mine. Always been a fan of M3 sedans over coupes anyway... planning to make this my next car. Now, all I have to do is find an extra $80k. (I like paying cash for my vehicles... this might be a tall order).

They aren't anywhere near as extreme as the typical aftermarket widebody kits, and they also lack the "tacky" line of bolts around the entire perimeter. This is a million times more slick, subtle, and attractive than those.

Very disappointing to see the huge, ugly, already showing rust color stains exhaust hanging low in the new M3/M4. I guess we will need the Arkapovic folks to hurry an M3/M4 replacement just like for the E90/E92/E93 M3s. This is something that should have been addressed in the new M3/M4!!

Why has BMW designed the sedan to look more aggressive than the coupe?

Is it odd to say that I don't mind the exposed exhaust? Doesn't strike me significantly different than giant rotors or (and this is admittedly more of a stretch) the exposed/visible engine bays of more exotic cars.

In contrast, I've always disliked the 7-series that go out of their way to hide even the tailpipes.
