Agree - the cool silver of Silverstone is not as nice as many other silvers, even Titanium.

Sorry but this car in whatever flavor of silver this is sucks! How boring. It just blends in with the rest of the cars around it. Dont get me wrong, I am #3 on the list to order mine but it definitely wont look like this. I actually think it is pretty cool to see real pictures because this is how the car is actually going to look when its being driven every day. That being said, I really think this car NEEDS a bold color to make it stand out. That is why I am ordering Austin Yellow!
Also... When are we going to see picts of the car with a manual?! The car is supposed to have shorter throws and a new and improved MT.

I do not like the look of that car at all. I certainly think the Silverstone takes the flare out of the body shape, the silver top is not appealing and the take on the front bumper really distracts you from seeing what the lines really look like. I don't like the Silver outside with a tan interior either.

I felt similar to the E92 in SS. Hard to see the lines.
If I go this route it will have to be a more "exotic" color.

Bland, is the first thing that comes to mind.
I was going to send a picture to a buddy who is considering an F30 335 today, because I thought it was a 435 initially. My first thought was "this car needs ZCP." My second was, "wait till 2015 to purchase". I hope some better pictures surface soon this car looks very plain. |

It's on skinny winter tires so it lacks that aggression. And sunroof makes the car look plain.

I'm not really feeling this color on the new M4. It seems really plain and just like a plane 4-series. I think that is the point of it though as this is still a test car. They want it to blend in and look like a regular 4-series. I don't think this color should be allowed as a production color as it really plays down the car. Anyway, just my two cents.
Really looking forward to seeing real pics of the new M3/M4 in some other color options.

I could do without the amber in the tail lights.

It's definitely the lack of CF roof that is making it appear more plain Jane. But still looks good, I especially prefer the SSII color over the Gold.

It's not a stripper....it's the shape and the color. I don't like that color on the ///M4 at all. What caught my attention was the old school iDrive controller. This must be one of the older test cars or something. ...and the black wheels own the polished. |

Properly option this car and give it a better color and I think we would be singing a different tune. This setup is extremely underwhelming. Something with the decklid is very disappointing. I feel like a CSL style lid would make it pop. So far the M3 > M4 in my opinion.
