I think many people including me, would like to know when will Bmw Welt start the M3/M4 deliveries to non German owners ?
In addition, do they plan to offer a Bang and Olufsen audio upgrade ? Finally it would make sense to know what is the exact kurb weight with STD brakes, and the same with CCB brakes . Some official lap times |

One item I have already noted is the rear axle ratio will be higher (numerically lower) because of the greater torque available and also to improve fuel mileage.

Stopping power is a function of tire traction these days. Even basic brake systems can lockup the wheels or hit the ABS threshold, at that point bigger brakes do nothing.

Five of the eight colors are still shades of grey. The problem is they have nothing between that and the ridiculously bright blue, yellow, and orange. Eight colors is just too few for a car like this (normal 3 series has 13!). The new M3/M4 have got to be some of the only cars out there that aren't available in red or a mainstream blue.

The two most important questions that will determine if I will buy this M series.
What oil viscosity will this engine run. What are the engine bearing clearances. |

And the CC brakes on this M3/4 will be more designed for long life under street conditions than high energy conditions like racing. |

Thanks for posting the vid. Although honestly, that just confirms for me how much I dislike Yaz Marina blue. And whoever titled that video clearly has a different definition of "LOVELY Sound" than I do.

When will the 22" Spinner wheels be available?
IS BMW holding them back in order to make us buy them when they are part of the complete competition package in 2 years? Additional cost of Spinners? What colors will they paint the wheels? (please no more: black, grey, white, blue, red, yellow, orange, green). Maybe more beige or pink!! What will the spinners weigh, and will they change my center of gravity? What are the Nurburging lap times with the spinners (rotational mass around the corners must shave at least 20 sec. off the lap time) Will there be an option to light up the Spinners with LEDs (please none of the old Edison bulbs!)? If No LEDs to light the wheel how about some extra illuminated M3/4 badges along the spokes.... Will the spinning motion be controlled by crappy turbos or will they be naturally aspirated? Will the Spinners be part of the "Smokey Burnout" package? Might there be a CFRP version of the spinners as an LCI update? How will they sound when spinning at a stoplight? Will the Spinners effect the electro-magnetic-Tesla-AC/DC Steering feel? I heard a rumor that the Spinners will only be touched by one mechanic while being manufactured in a secret facility hidden in a Bavarian mountainside, can they confirm? Please don't allow the 22" spinners be an option on any other BMW, it would make mine less special and unique. Last edited by ZGM3; 01-06-2014 at 05:41 PM.. |

You should really stick to questions actually mentioning the M3/M4 in general.
You will not get an answer to some of the questions being asked. Especially in the questions you want answered. In someway some questions have already been answered.

Can you spec the M3 without the M badges? IMO having 3 seems to be a bit more exclusive than having something with M on it.
On a serious note is this the end of bespoke M engines? (Loving whipping the AMGs with the M4 in GT6, awesome car) |

They are two individual sub-brands supporting the core BMW brand in the centre. The two sub-brands will not cross-over. But will feature their own sub-brands. BMW M Performance -which is already here. BMW eDrive - core BMW models that are electric and plug-in hybrids. BMW M. BMW M Performance BMW BMWi BMW eDrive.
