"Late June: Customer deliveries and European Delivery begin. "

Hmmm, I'm in Europe on vacation July and August. I wonder if there will be an August closure or if the factory and Welt will stay open throughout this year. I recall in the past there has been closures in part of August. It will probably be tight to get a spot in July taken that it's pretty much the first delivery month.

This year the plant did not close in August (2013) like in past years. So, I think it's reasonable to assume that they will be cranking out cars this upcoming August, too..

That is good news and I recall seeing that as well for 2013. Hopefully 2014 will be the same.

Late June: Press drives / media launch.

I really hope that's not the case... Press drives should be a lot sooner.

Come on down to MERICA! You will of course have to give up your health insurance and put on 30lbs though! lol
At the very least 30 lbs and figure in that our middle class is GONE, so I hope you have LOTS of money!!

The poll showed 9/10 people liked what they saw. I was drooling over the Z06 myself yesterday but it won't change the fact that I'm ordering an M3. Thou can loveth more than one car.

+1 Waiting to hear from the CA on the pricing, if some aggressive price could be worked off for ED.

European Delivery generally gives you nearly a 7% discount on most models, including the M's. This would give you (optimistically) a $4,340 discount on the M3 and $4,494 on the M4.

Wrong.. 14% at play off of US retail

Hmmm. That pricing seems a bit of a stretch. That's base. Add the requisite 10k in options, and I have a feeling these cars will be sitting on dealer lots a year from release. This generation has a very e36 feel to it. It's a transition generation, that will (hopefully) be redefined by the next generation. IMO.

This is great news!!!!

I went to my local BMW dealership today and put a down payment for the first F80 M3 allocation that they are having. Hopefully this times will stay close to the summer dates as we are planing on doing ED and making this a very memorable purchase.

Typically it is 7% off US MSRP for ED MSRP and 14% off for ED invoice. I was actually just really curious if this pattern had changed. Thanks for responses though guys
