Bootmod3 Flex Dyno

Hey guys!

I finally got my car dynoed with the my 3 slot flex tune. I'm very happy with it. It doesn't make as much power as my straight E85 tune, but having flex makes it very nice when my closest E pump is 8 miles away.

I also have some vids

Really neat seeing the differences between the tunes.
Do you find it tough to manage that 540-560wtq at the track between 4000-5000rpm?

No, it comes in pretty smooth, but it takes some getting used to coming from tracking an E46

Haha, so that's the predicament I'm in at the moment.
Getting used to driving a car with torque...

I'm coming from an E46 M3 that I built and detuned for GridLife GLTC and NASA ST4. Rocking a whopping 220whp on a good day.

I appreciate the insight! I have quite a bit to learn on this car, getting spring rates, kinematics all dialed in.

This custom track tune puts power down a lot better than the stock CS tune.

Just takes a couple days to get used to it.

I hear you on that. I came from an E46 M3 to an E92 M3 to this. I just switched to the felxfuel maps as well. I am assuming this is the Stage 2 Flexfuel multimap?

I'm running the slot 3 93 tune and currently at 60% ethanol by the BM3 gauge via the cruise control. Do you mix fuel or just throw all E85?

Great numbers BTW!

Sure beats the days of changing maps at the gas station.

Usually it's some kind of mix. After E50/60 I don't think the flex makes that much more. You can run straight 80% but the flex tunes don't like them as much.
