DIY: Stock Black tips $30 total

For all the people looking for an easy $30 mod from chrome to black. I went to Home Depot and bought 220 grit sandpaper, 400 grit sandpaper, and Rustoleum High Heat Black Spray Paint.

Steps:
1. Soaked tips in dishwasher soap for 15 mins to get the grease and dirt off.
2. Wet sanded with 220 grit by hand. This step removes most of the rust and water spots that did not come off from step 1.
3. Wet sanded with 400 grit.
4. Spray painted all 4 tips at once. Turned 90 degrees and sprayed. Make sure you don't spray too long in one spot or you'll get runs.

Don't mind the gap, this is for people not wanting to spending $200+ on bigger tips.

Did you have a hard time pulling them off?
