HAS kit + BMW lip + daily drive?
Hey guys , considering a HAS kit for my car.
I currently have the M performance front carbon splitters and lip. The car is a daily driver. Is a HAS kit a bad idea? My goal is a very subtle drop. I’d love to fix the wheel gap and make the car more aggressive but not if I’m gonna be scraping my lip everyday. Suggestions? Thanks

I daily mine on MPHAS. When I had my lip on I would scrape on most inclines and bottom out on road divots. Somehow with the lip off, I’ve only brushed the rash guards on a few occasions. I’ll probably put my lip back on soon, but I think of it as protection for my bumper - would recommend the Lightweight Lip as it’s built like a tank. Pic below for height reference (about 1.5 finger gap front, 2 finger rear)

No probs. I'm near Philly and the roads...what roads? I didn't set them too low so they rarely scrape. I could go way lower but no desire. I wanted the softer ride from stock Base.

I think you are actually asking whether lowering your car is a bad idea

I don't have a CS but am relatively low (24-24.5") on MP HAS. I switch it up from time to time but keep going back to the MP lightweight w/SlipLo due to its durability. |

Ditto. First lip lasted less than a month. Changed a couple things, this one is still around. HAS for lowering is great IMO.

Here's another thread with more info. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1793605
I like the comments that say to just treat the front lip as a consumable because it's sadly true. lol
