Aftermarket Wheels?

Has anyone installed any other wheels on the GTS other than the gold ones or the 681M CF style?

I'd like to try something different... saw some pictures of the black GTS with V-FF 110's... looks nice... but was curious if anyone else had anything different? I know that the issue is clearing CCB's.

Thanks!

That's not bad... I would like 20's all around though 😏

I like this... classy... but it may be weird on white.

Yeah. Fronts are AP Essex 9668's and the rears are 9449's. Track work on the ceramics doesn't make sense so the change was a no brainer. The AP's have better feel as well, not to derail the thread. Moral of the story is I'm a sucker for E88's.

Gotcha, I was planning to get custom E88s for my 997TT but I couldn't delete the AWD system easily so ended up selling that car. Love those wheels though, well done.

From my research, I think most people go with these tire setups...

Front: 275/30/20 (if going with 20's and at least 9.5 inch rim, 10 preferred)
Rear: 295/30/20 (minimum 10.5, 11 preferred).

Some have put 305's in the back, but they bulge a bit.

I think I'm going to go with 275 F and 295 R once I get my rims.

Would also love the hear more input from other members that have gone this route, or different.

Thanks, I was thinking to go 19's all around or maybe even 19" fronts and 18" rears if I can stuff more sidewall in the fenders. This will provide some added compliance to cope with my roads and maybe even a bit of height overall. I don't want to do any bodywork though (fender rolling).

You can get a 295/35/18 on the rear with no problems as far as fitment goes. I paired that with a 265/35/18 on the front and the car worked really well. It's on a 295/30/18 and 315/30/18 now and the car worked better on the previous set up. The rear tire was closer to oe diameters on the 295/35 and the diff definitely worked better than with the 315/30.

"This is the original spec wheel used on the F82 M4 GT4 race car. It's an 18x11.0" with an ET30 offset and weighs 20.3lbs. This wheel is the GT4 spec and we are required to run this wheel and sizing in GT4 and IMSA races. While an easy fitment on the rear axle, these are not a direct fit to the front of a standard M3/M4 street car. The GT4 racecar has revised suspension geometry and alignment settings and a very large spacer that allow this wheel to fit on the front axle. This wheel will not fit the front of a standard street car."

$720/wheel

Wonder if this has the same front fitment issues for our cars? (Edit: nvm it's 18" so brakes won't fit)

Also an interesting option, 19x10 front and 18x11 rear. Could get some more sidewall and width in there. I would assume more tire options too.

Titan wheels in 10.5 19" square fit perfectly

I've been able to fit 11 front and 11 rear with aftermarket Bimmerworld wheels in 18"

You can also try the 19 x 10 ET22 front, but needs 5mm spacer due to the stock GTS shocks are BMW re-branded KW Clubsport needing a bit more room, and with certain tires you may need more negative camber to clear the fender. I don't have camber plates (yet).

The 19 x 9.5 ET25 is a direct fit with no spacer and either front tire can run 275/30 tire. Some have mentioned that even though you have the 275 on either wheel the 10" wheel improves handling, I don't have any experience so can't comment.

I am probably going to go with the setup in the picture as I have never tracked and am not going to camber unless track days get to be a habit.

By the way does installing camber plates void warranty?
camber plates does not affect the warranty in any way. Nor does swapping the suspension or the CCBs

The 19" ones do

Front 10.5 fitment may be an issue with stock KW suspension
