▀▄ eas | Dyno: VTT "Game Changer" Turbo Upgrade - 100 octane

Recently installed a set of Vargas' new "Game Changer" turbos and wanted to share some real-world results on blackey 's M3, which is no stranger to the track. Once strapped the dyno, we were able to reach a respectable 660whp & 631tq, dialing the power back a bit to ensure reliability at the track. That's a whopping 235whp gain, factoring in most M3/M4s average at ~425whp stock on dynojet. Expect even more on E85, as there's still a lot of power left on the plate.

Modifications
- VTT "Game Changer" Turbo Upgrade
- VTT Silicone chargepipes
- BM3/Cary Jordan Tuning 100 octane tune
- Dinan High Performance Heat Exchanger
- Evolution Racewerks Catless Downpipes
- BMC Filters
- Dinan Muffler
- 19" Signature SV-101 Wheels (street)

Runs are on 100 octane, easily accessible at any track with a backup 91 octane file for the drive to/from home. No trailer for this beast.

Enjoy!

Powerband looks very similar to the competition, but at a fraction of the cost. Not throwing any shade at anyone, just pointing out the obvious.

Looks very promising. I'm thinking about picking these up.
I wonder how they would do with 98 RON and the stock fuel system.

I would also add to this I asked Cary to do a very conservative tune. This car spends a fair amount of time on track, and summers in the desert on track are tough. I know there was more to be pulled out, but on stock clutches and motor for now (with exception of VTT spline lock) this is all we really thought was safe.

Both Cary and EAS were / are great to work with btw. I had a wastegate that was intermittent it turns out and both worked hard to find and solve the issue, which would only really show up on the bigger turbos.

Great job all involved, the turbos are def a good bargain at the price.
car to share a log of the run?
or how much boost and timing you using for these numbers, that's a true indication of how well they flow.

thanks for posting and the results tom and blackey enjoy your new found power

Just tuning for 100 octane since a track file was being generated. We can get 91 numbers on a future visit when 91 is back in the tank.

I unfortunately never got a chance to do back to back with the PS2+ turbos. We were constantly fighting what turned out to be a wastegate issue. On stock turbos everything seemed to work fine, but on the bigger turbos boost was unstable. We replaced the actuators with a set of used ones and one of the used ones were bad. Long story short, I liked the way the GC's spooled for road racing and decided to go that way instead. I suspect they make similar numbers, with the GC's spooling quicker.
