I got bootmod3 and had jb4 so decided that I wanted to try out the Jb4 with the RACE bef map. The people from bootmod3 were great and uploaded the JB4 Race_14 for me to flash. The flash was completed successfully but it never cleared the drivetrain malfunction warning. I started the car and it struggled to start but started and continued to have the drivetrain malfunction code. The car was struggling and kept a 5000rpm redline. I just went back to the the bm3 93 stage 2 map and the codes went away.
Does anyone know what is going on? Last edited by AleksDeRussian; 01-21-2021 at 04:35 PM.. |

You'd have to read the fault codes to see, but MHD automatically converts the file posted to a version that is specifically for your ECU build at flash time. Maybe BM3 didn't do the conversion right?

Read codes first.

I added the fault codes I got from after the flash. The car was running very poorly. I'm enjoying the stage 2 flash from bootmod3 at the moment but still want to see what JB4 with a BEF brings to the table.
