Austin Yellow M4 at Daytona

Some pics of the Austin Yellow M4 from Daytona. The colors are off in the photos.

unfortunately there are no BMW reps around at the moment to convince to let us rev the car

Enjoy!

Good show. You start to see the muscularity of the rear of the car in natural light.

This is getting pretty damn annoying. Why promote the car with all black wheels that aren't even available?! This selection is miles better than the half black/half silver crap that we get to choose from.

Agreed, two mods that will happen for me is a drop but the wheels are getting power coated the same day is being picked up lol

Well these help answer some of the questions about how AY looks in real light. Granted it is late in the day which has its own light, but awesome to see it in both light and shadow. Great catch.

Nice work. It's substantially different from when it is shown in the bright lights of the shows or studios eh. I actually rather like it in natural light, having hated it to date.

And another car showing that BMW should really have kept a fully black wheel option. THey off-set the light colour beautifully and look tough, unlike the blingy production version.

I do like the all-black rims. I don't know why BMW would show it in configurations we won't be able to get (assuming they won't be available in the end)?

I believe the spokes are polished black chrome that reflects light making them appear not dark at all in some shots. I'd prefer a more normal all black but reserve judgment until I see it in person.

I was starting to reconsider AY but I'm not sure I like it anywhere near as much after seeing it in this light.

I'm torn on the Austin Yellow. I've always wanted a yellowish green colored car. Does the AY have a green tint to it at all?

I am going to withhold judgment on this color until I see it in person. I liked it in the indoor show photos, but not so much in these. It was a cloudy day in Central Florida today, so I would like to see it in direct sunlight. Still, the color seems to lack any "pop" in these pics that was evident under the bright lights of a convention hall.
