Same issue after adding vin. Tried tracking with my production number and it still doesn't come up even though the car completed production yesterday. Worthless site.

Yeah, I called and asked a genius about this. He forwarded me to the Financial Services department. The guy within financial services said the only thing he could do was open a ticket with IT and they would contact me within a few days.

I called BMW Genius weeks ago and saying they opened a ticket and will contact me back via e-mail.

I've only called a few times checking on the status of my car and they've been friendly and helpful, although I can't say I've asked them anything overly complicated.

At least one other member mentioned that email in post #16. Hope the update resolves the issues many seem to be experiencing.

So I called up financial services today, they opened an IT ticket, somehow the guy thought that me being a past customer with paid off accounts at bmwfs triggered a problem. He also mentioned that because it is ED and the finance work wasn't signed yet it may trigger that error. They will work something on their end to separate that aspect from the actually tracker. I will check again in 48 hours and come back with an update.

I talked to BMWFS today after fighting this same error on different browsers with different accounts and the guy told me that he talked to their tech guys and they are not aware of any issues. He eventually gave up and gave me the most useless solution I have ever heard in my life - "Don't sign in until you have signed the paperwork with BMWFS". They need to get their sh*t together.

Thats crap, an account with BMWFS isn't a requirement to use myBMW.

That is all so bogus. My paperwork is signed and they have my money and the site still doesn't work for me when I enter my VIN. And really??? They didn't know there were any problems with the site? That also sounds crazy.

And... to further my above point, I just got an email from BMW Financial welcoming me and congratulating me on my M4. It said that my account is all set up and all I need to do is either log in or verify a few things. I thought it was finally fixed, but to no avail. Still more of the same.
