Winter Storage: No Snow=Hand-wash and detail

What did you guys do to your car today? Living in Upstate, NY, our car season tends to be a very short one. For most, cars are stowed away at the end of October and don’t see the roads again until all the snow and salt have washed away, sometimes forcing us to wait until May to finally enjoy our cars again. Well with having the day off, and waking up to sun shining through the windows this morning, I decided it was perfect to pull the car out for a bit and give it a nice wash and detail. I utilize the entire Chemical Guys cleaning line, for both my exterior and interior detailing needs. Here is a quick picture of my beautiful 17’ F80 6MT, in Black Sapphire Metallic after using the Chemical Guys Snow Foam Auto Wash and their Speed Wipe Detailer.

I personally really enjoy the look of the 513’s. I’m gonna play around with wheel and tire sizes this spring/summer. My buddy is throwing me his 20” comp wheels to see how I like the figment and the ride feel. I primarily like the 18’s for the thicker sidewall and the comfort, but it’s not necessarily a daily, so I can deal with the a few more bumps, haha.

Ooof I feel you there man. Living in the northeast can be a bit brutal for us car lovers. Not to mention the damn salt that lingers around.
