Apple Carplay + Fullscreen Carplay Activations

Hi there,

Just got my (first) F83 this week and getting everything set up / sorted.
Got some great advice from other forum members on air intake noise yesterday, and now exploring ways of getting CarPlay in full-screen.

As mentioned in thread above, your gesture of free coding for members was very generous - but obviously I don't qualify (as only joined this week).

However, am interested in getting the coding patch (and very happy to pay), but have a couple of questions: -

Does it need specific iOS version on phone? (I'm on 14.4.2)

Would it be forward-compatible, as Apple issue future iOS upgrades, or would I need to re-patch the car to keep the full-screen function?

Does the firmware version on the car matter? (... as I read on ads elsewhere that their patch only works with some)

Your advice would be appreciated.

iOS 14.4.2 is fine, yes forward compatible after patched.

Firmware Version will require NBT EVO N or newer (03-18) to support Fullscreen.

We can enable it for your 2016 but it will require a 60 minute remote flash session

Your vehicle is already equipped with a Wifi Antenna, no worries you do not need one.
