M4 Ikon headlight turned yellowish

Have anyone experienced their headlights turned yellowish? Any ways to solve this issue other than replacing the whole thing ? notice the left and right side 1 is slightly yellowish

Can you try coding it? I think there is an option where you can code the lights to be darker or brighter. There could also be other options for the lights on there.
As long as both right and left are set to same parameters it should be the same. If it's still a problem then you might have to replace it

I stripped a set of icons apart to modify last year, those parts of the DRLs are lit up by a set of led boards accessible from the top of the headlight unit.

There's two boards per side stuck onto the heatsink via a thermal plaster, you just need to use something like a razor blade to pry them away.

The fact that both have done it seems a bit odd to me.. I wouldn't expect both to burn out at the same time so I would suspect something has caused it. One possibility is the light guides being dirty/discoloured from a burn - out of curiosity does the main beam also look yellowish? Reason I ask is that it may be the lens has yellowed and you're only noticing it when there's direct light coming from behind it.

If you have a torx screw driver set then open the top heatsink and lift out the led boards whilst they're lit up, that will help you troubleshoot whether it's the boards themselves

Are these Euro lights? If they are they have like 2 or three different series with different part numbers. If both lights arent from the same series the DRL color wont match.

Wait, you retrofitted them with the updated Ikon Lci 2 rings? How'd you do it?

Common issue. Just replace the LED module at the top of the headlight. New one directly from BMW is around $140 per side.
